Joanne Bell was born and raised in Ludlow, Massachusetts, and earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Western New England College. The mother of five children, she home schooled and held various jobs until her retirement from the work force. She and her husband now live in Wilbraham, Massachusetts.
Joanne has taken photography courses, attended workshops, and spent countless hours in the field developing her skills. She is a member of the Photographic Society of America, the Valley Photo Center, and the Wilbraham Art League. In addition to her solo exhibits, she participates in local and international juried exhibitions.
