Joanne Bell is an award-winning photographer based in Wilbraham, Massachusetts. In 2023 she received top honors in color photography at the Eastern States Exposition in West Springfield, Massachusetts. In addition, she achieved Honorable Mentions at both the Syrmia International Exhibition of Photography in Croatia and the Piedmont Regional Photography Show in Somers, Connecticut. Joanne's photographic art was also selected to create banners for the Crossroads Cultural District in Greenfield, Massachusetts. In prior years she's been awarded first place in local competitions held by both the Wilbraham Art League and the Valley Photo Center.

While I do photography for the joy of it, nature photography is most rewarding and humbling to me. Romans 10:20 in the Bible tells us that God's "invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made." The scenes and subjects that I photograph are not my accomplishments. Nature speaks of our Creator. The greatest joy is to communicate that truth.
